The first steps in wholesale: distributing pork, beef, and artificial casings.
We opened our first site in Dunakeszi on Szent István road. The base, consisting of two refrigerated wagons and a small wooden hut, had a storage capacity of only 32 pallets.
With the establishment of the PASSNER breaded product manufacturing plant, we began the production of our own brand of prime meat products.
A breakthrough in our development came with the establishment of our new logistics center in Pallag Street, Dunakeszi, named ‘Irene cold storage facility’, which had a storage capacity of 2100 pallets.
We replaced our warehouse equipment with forklifts powered by modern lithium batteries. Automatic rapid doors save significant amounts of energy with the help of air curtains. The cold storage operation is partially powered by renewable energy sources.
Our new brand image simultaneously expresses our commitment to continuous renewal and development, and adherence to our traditions and values, with our customers at the core.
We introduced a new enterprise management and logistics system and implemented numerous additional IT developments in the spirit of digitization.
